This delightful building used to be the home of the Parks Superintendent however due to cut backs the building is now a private house and the park is not looked after at the night time so vandalism is a problem.
At the same time as the parks superintendent was moved to Buxton the original wrought iron gates were also moved to Buxton and have now been lost to the rate payers of Glossop
It is beginning to look that the developers work is excellent and totally in keeping with the original gatehouse, I will be making sure that all the High Peak Borough Council planning officers use this building as a example of the standards required by the Old Glossop residents.
