Shireway was built by the council in the late 1950's

This is a delightful area which is well looked after by the residents.

The council planners of the time should be congratulated on the layout and design of the houses.

Unfortunately the next entrance shows the rear of typical 1950 council house layout.

However most of these houses are now in private ownership
